Hardhat prides itself on working with Contractors and meeting their ever-changing needs, especially in a diverse and challenging environment. Our extensive experience has produced a tremendous product: Hardhat Job Cost Accounting Software, the most comprehensive, fully integrated, cost-effective, Job Cost Construction Software system available

In 1973, we started working on-site with a construction company in Memphis, Tennessee, to develop one of the first Job Cost Accounting Software packages available in America.

In 1998, Jamie Rushing, a Plumbing and HVAC contractor who had been a client of Hardhat for 10 years, took over ownership of Hardhat. As a successful contractor, Jamie recognized the opportunity to seize a valuable tool of the construction industry. Since that time, Hardhat has partnered with hundreds of contractors across our nation to assist them in developing and managing successful construction enterprises.

We have met many challenges as technology has changed since our founding.

We are in constant dialogue with our customer base to make sure their needs are being met.
