In 1973, we started working on-site with a construction company in Memphis, Tennessee, to develop one of the first Job Cost Accounting Software packages available in America.

In 1998, Jamie Rushing, a Plumbing and HVAC contractor who had been a client of Hardhat for 10 years, took over ownership of Hardhat. As a successful contractor, Jamie recognized the opportunity to seize a valuable tool of the construction industry. Since that time, Hardhat has partnered with hundreds of contractors across our nation to assist them in developing and managing successful construction enterprises.

We have met many challenges as technology has changed since our founding.
