Okay, you know you have to upgrade to a better Job Cost Accounting Software system.
You are dreading the Implementation Process, right!?
Well, let me explain the process so you will feel better!
The 'GRUNT' work is on Hardhat.
Hardhat will be working with you directly to coordinate the transition.
We will set up the Payroll deductions, set up the Work Comp codes and enter the rates. We will set up the State and Federal Unemployment rates and maximums.
We will help you to get the Payroll year-to-date information entered into Hardhat. In previous conversions, we have entered one Payroll for each employee for each quarter. It will be as if each employee received one Payroll Check per quarter. This will, of course, allow you to print W-2's out of Hardhat at the end of the year.
We will work with you to get the customer list and the outstanding invoices imported into Hardhat through an automated process.

Hardhat comes with a standard Chart of Accounts. When we enter your Trial Balance amounts, we will be setting up new accounts as needed.
Hardhat will help you to get the open jobs set up in Hardhat, either manually or we can automate the process if needed. Same goes for beginning balances and budgets.
We will train your personnel. Our training session will be held in your office. We will be running a real Payroll, entering A/P Invoices, writing A/P Checks (I like to say that the first A/P Check that we write out of Hardhat will be to Hardhat!), A/R Invoices, posting Cash Receipts, setting up new jobs, etc.
All of this happens in a span of 3 days.
Also, we will be coordinating any custom programming. Occasionally, we come across something that a new company might be doing that will require a programming change. We usually throw in some custom programming with each new client if needed.
With Hardhat, you will be dealing with one person from start to finish. The Hardhat Representative will be able to handle the importing of legacy data, along with the set up, training, and will be your main Hardhat Support Person for the next 90 days.
